(Click here to view the event flyer)
Tuesday June 20, 2017, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Are you interested in seeing development in Brownsville that helps our local economy while maintaining opportunities for affordable housing and creating walkable, vibrant neighborhoods?
IF SO, PLEASE JOIN US FOR A COMMUNITY MEETING TO SHARE YOUR IDEAS!
The community meeting will include a presentation of common strategies to create equitable development. Equitable development is about creating communities where residents of all incomes, ages, races, and ethnicities participate in and benefit from decisions that shape the places where they live. The U.S. EPA and the Housing Authority of the City of Brownsville are hosting this meeting to hear your ideas about how to support economic development while preserving affordable housing opportunities in the city and creating walkable, thriving neighborhoods.
We will have a Kids Activity Section and Refreshments will be served!
Transportation to the meeting will be available from 1406 14th St. Choice Neighborhood Headquarters at 5 pm.
